So write your story as it needs to be written. Write it honestly, and tell it as best you can.

You made it through today, and that should give you hope to make it through tomorrow, and all the tomorrows to come. It’s all about the willpower, fortitude, perserverance…whatever you call that thing that keeps you going when everything else doesn’t. Maybe it’s a person, a quote, a lover, a friend, a role model, a teacher, a parent, a random moment in time that left traces in you. Whatever it is, whoever it is, wherever it is hold on to it really tight and let it get you through.

It will get you through…

It’s days like today, when the sun outside doesn’t compare to the light in me that I have hope. That I feel awake and aware. I feel like it really can get better, and I don’t feel afraid to try.

And I wonder what will happen between sleep and when I wake up tomorrow. Will tomorrow be light or dark?

Please, let this hope grow and not die in me.
